Overview
The AI Transcript Summary feature helps you quickly understand the key points of a deposition. It generates three types of summaries—Narrative, Chronological, and Table of Contents—that can be downloaded as .txt files. Summaries provide immediate context for faster review of lengthy transcripts and help you focus on the most important information.
How to Generate AI Transcript Summaries
- Navigate to your Litigation database.
- Open the Deponents tab.
- Select the deposition transcript you want to summarize.
- Click Get Summary.
Summary Types
Once completed, the AI Summary feature generates the following three summary formats:
Each summary type is produced as its own .txt download, making it easy to save, share, and reference during case work.
Narrative Summary
Provides a high-level overview of themes, testimony, and key elements in a cohesive narrative format. This type of summary is helpful for early case strategy discussions or sharing a clear recap with your team.
Chronological Summary
Organizes key events and testimony in the order they occurred. This format is useful when building case timelines, preparing motions, or reconstructing sequences of events.
Table of Contents Summary
Outlines the main topics and themes in the order they appear in the transcript, making it easy to navigate the document and quickly locate sections of interest during deeper review.
